Are Adult Day Services Right for You and Your Loved One?

When should someone consider adult day services? Maybe this is a good time to explore what’s available before you actually need it. It may be a good time to consider adult day services, when someone: 

• Can no longer arrange his or her own daily activities

• Is isolated and would greatly benefit from companionship

• Can't be safely left alone at home

• Lives with someone who works outside the home and is frequently away

Our day services include multi level (mild to moderate) programming and have the advantage of providing social contact and cognitive stimulation. Additionally, our center is spacious and unique offering innovative programs:

 ·         Meals served in our dining room and separate dinner/café
·         Facebook & Skype along with brain games in our resource library room

·         A sensory room for relaxation & one on one

No matter your age or ability, join us for a game of:
                   

  ****We also offer a special program called Lou's Place at the Cafe Connections for individuals with early memory loss or just looking for a social and activity model for a few days a week. Appropriate placement for this program is for people who are in the early stages of their disease (Alzheimer's & other forms of dementia) and may have recently stopped driving. We offer a  group program that offers participants the opportunity to connect with others who are sharing similar circumstances. Lunch is made available along group activities that provide for socialization, recreation and support.    
Our administrator and trained staff are available to assist families with answering any questions or come and visit us while the center is opened from 7:30am to 5:00pm.
